Ice Cave Trail is a short, simple trail and is a wonderful hike for people of all ages! In fact, trails like this are perfect for families with young children. While maybe not able to complete the whole trail, people with mobility issues could surely tackle the first section of trail that travels along Billings Creek. This part of the trail is level, wide and covered with a firm layer of small gravel. The first section of trail has beautiful views of the creek and places to picnic or have a cookout! Perhaps you could even try your hand at some trout fishing in the creek, which I hear is excellent!
The last section of trail is short with a small up hill slope, but isn’t difficult and the payoff is ice cave, a large rock formation that is neat to explore! Check out the video above of our family hike to Ice Cave!
