Grilled pork loin. Just those three words will cause my kids to cheer when they ask what’s for dinner. In this episode of “What’s Cookin?” I’ll give you a recipe the whole family will love!
I love preparing pork loin at the campsite because we buy it an a pre-sealed package, guaranteeing no mess in the cooler. I only open the package the day I’m going to cook it as you don’t want to marinade these too long. Once it’s time, fire up the grill, cast iron skillet or cook them over a campfire.
My secret marinade is Eastern Carolina Style BBQ sauce from Carolina Sunshine! Carolina Sunshine is a small family owned business managed by a good friend of mine. You’ll hear more from me about Carolina Sunshine in future episodes. They make my favorite dry rub too!
Aside from the grilled pork loin, feel free to fix whatever sides you like. We often grill corn or cook other vegetables, make a pot of stuffing or make our famous camp potatoes! You can’t go wrong with this hearty meal, at home or the campsite!
