With the highest elevation of any State Park in Georgia, the entrance road is quite the climb for folks with RVs or campers. Recently we have seen several questions about the entrance road in some of the Georgia camping Facebook groups we are in so we decided to film our drive up to the campground. We hope it helps people planning their next camping trip to Black Rock Mountain State Park!
Hiking Black Rock Lake Trail is a must do when visiting Black Rock Mountain State Park! This is an easy loop trail that is 0.85 miles long and has almost no elevation change. This trail offers fantastic views of Black Rock Lake and the path is wide and easy to navigate. There is also a small fishing pier at the lake and the trail offers access to bank fishing around the lake. Learn more.
